Weddings at Folly Farm Centre

Folly Farm wedding venue is such a beautiful location for any couple wishing to get married in the countryside. It is in Avon Wildlife Trust’s 250-acre nature reserve, located in the beautiful Chew Valley, with views of the Mendip Hills and Chew Valley Lake. I would class it as being one of the most lovely Barn wedding venues in Somerset.

The Folly Farm Centre is housed in a set of carefully restored 18th-century farm buildings with many Eco features including biomass heating and solar energy. The beautiful rustic look of the natural area together with the old farm buildings adds to the magic of your day. This was so evident on Kelly and Matt’s wedding day last year! They even enjoyed full exclusive use of the entire venue from Friday through to Sunday morning – a unique and completely private celebration!

The lucky couple and their guests looked amazing in their wedding photos within this unique historic environment. The wedding ceremony took place outside overlooking Chew Valley Lake. We had so much fun photographing their wedding, right from early Saturday morning through to their first dance in the evening. They are a fantastic fun couple who made our job so easy! As wedding photographers on the day at Folly Farm, it was such a joy too, brilliant helpful staff that made the day run like clockwork.
