Last Saturday (21st June) was a very humbling but exciting day for Liz & I, taking photos for Children’s Hospice South West Rainbow fun run. Blue skies and a hot sun was well and truly fixed over The Downs in Clifton, Bristol. So much fun and laughter had by all, and for an extremely good cause! The powder paint was in full flow for the keen and energetic runners of all ages. The colourful 5k run was not about speed or fitness, but it was all about fun whilst raising vital funds for Children’s Hospice South West. Volunteers turned up wearing white with the expectation of being covered in powder paint. They all left with a smile and every colour of the rainbow! I think Liz and I wanted to put down our cameras and join in! But then who would have taken the photos of our all important runners, volunteers and special families?
All 300+ images taken on the day have been donated to CHSW. Our special families can contact Emma for photos taken of them during the event. Here is a small selection of low resolution images to show the flavour of the day!
FULL gallery can be seen here. (Should you wish to donate & purchase a high-res digital image from this site, ALL the proceeds (less my fee for using PayPal) will be sent to CHSW… our little bit to help out!)
